For our 30 Minutes in Life of June, I invite you in my home on a typical Saturday morning !

You know as a parent, those mornings when you dream about sleeping the week off and all that actually happens, is that your kids do actually wake up even earlier than school days … Yeah, this is typical right ?

So we have installed, or shall I say, this tradition just made its way through our routine without really us being aware of it. But, every saturday, its pillow fight and family hugs on our bed.

Nothing is better than real life !

These are our little moments as a family. The little things that connect us to one another. Lenny and Zacharie just love to climb up on our bed and claim it theirs.

They come with their own little pillows and stuff teddys and make it their home.

As a family photographer and storyteller, I keep inviting myself into my clients lives and intimacy. I tell them life is beautiful when it is raw and unscripted.

So, I only find it fair to apply this to me and my own family, because I truly and sincerely believe that nothing is better than real life.

Here is to our saturdays morning ritual, starting the day with laughters, giggles, cuddles, dances on the bed. And lets not forget one of our very very favorite thing : chasing the dust in the light !

I would trade the simplicity of these happy moments for nothing else in the world. I cannot know how long my boys will keep on coming into our bed and invade it with their contagious laughters. So for now, I simply make the best of it !
